This is a classic grape originally from Burgundy in France. It produces attractive blue-black grapes that are ideal for eating or winemaking. The vines are fast growing and suitable for growing outdoors. The vine has a climbing/ trailing habit so is ideal for a pergola, fence or climbing frame. The fruits are ready to pick from August to September.Plant in rich, fertile, well-drained soil in full sun. The more sun the better.
