HARDY PERENNIAL. Ht 45-60cm.
This plant is similar to spearmint but a lot more vigorous and not as sweet. The leaves and stems are thick and very aromatic. A great culinary herb. Add the fresh leaves to iced drinks, salads, fruit salads, mint jelly and mint pulp or on peas and potatoes. Great for making mint sauce or a strong mint tea. Plant in fertile, rich soil in full sun/part shade.
