This plant produces pale mauve flowers in summer and has small narrow leaves with short inter-nodes. The leaves of this variety have a strong thyme flavour.
Add the leaves or sprigs of this plant to stews, sauces, salads, pork, sausages, chicken, roast potatoes and marinades.
Plant in poor, well-drained soil in full sun.
