This plant produces purple/pink flowers in summer. It has a prostrate habit and is a great variety for creating a thyme lawn. Once established, it needs very little attention.
Trim once or twice a year and dry or use the trimmings in the kitchen.
The leaves of this variety have a very mild thyme flavour.
Add the leaves or sprigs of this plant to stews, sauces, salads, pork, chicken, roast potatoes and marinades.
Plant in poor, well-drained soil in full sun.
