This variety is an early maturing, productive grower that does well in the British climate.
It will produce around 3-4 small, dark green melons (around 7-8 inches across) that have a sweet, red, firm and crisp centre. These plants will require warm, dry temperatures to thrive, so a greenhouse would be ideal. Try to keep a maximum of 3 melons on each plant (removing any further flowers) - this will allow the plant to hone all its energy to a minimal number of fruits, making them each a good size. Plant in rich, moist soil in full sun. It is important to keep the soil moist and the plants fed regularly.
