This is a very reliable, heavy cropping outdoor variety of cucumbers that has good resistance to powdery and downy mildew. Marketmore has a crisp texture and a great refreshing taste that will produce large, dark green fruits up to 8 inches long. They can be quite thorny, so you may need to peel them before eating. The plants can be grown in a greenhouse/conservatory or outside in a sunny sheltered spot. The plants will need to grow up a support of some kind, such as a strong bamboo cane, trellis or growing frame.
Plant in rich, well-drained soil in full sun.
