Also known as the woodland germander. This plant produces greenish-yellow lobed flowers in late summer to autumn. It has a fairly low growing, prostrate habit and can be used for ground cover. The leaves have a mild garlic flavour and can be added to salads. Medicinally wood sage has antibiotic properties.
Plant in well-drained soil in full sun.
