Also known as broad-leafed sorrel, common sorrel and meadow sorrel.
This plant is easy to grow, clump-forming perennial. It has large green leaves that have a strong peppery, lemon, acidic flavour. Add the fresh leaves to salads, sauces, soups, soft cheeses and egg dishes. Especially good in sorrel soup. Divide the clumps in autumn, every other year to keep the leaves succulent.
Plant in fertile, rich soil in full sun/part shade.
